Melusine

He came out of the water and took me for a swim
With a glint in the eye and a flick of the fin but I was so afraid of going under.

Sentimental Fool

He brings me flowers every morning
He likes me even when I’m bad
He never minds when I’m running where the wild things are
because his arms are always open when I get back…

A tremendous test.

Stupidest Thing

You never knew me

Burger Generation

I will not be one to take part of

Dumbfounded

I wanted to write a beautiful love song
that wasn't schmaltzy like some other girls
Or even sort of quirky like those sensitive new age bands.
I wanted to rip the heart out of the most hardened of men
and make him bleed tears
I wanted to show the world that maybe I was thinking of you.
I decided in a moment that I was wasting my time.
He doesn't want me
I don't want him that's not the problem here
The problem is
I am staring at mangroves and birds are shitting in my hair
I never knew him and I never wanted to and I never will again.
And if I ask,
which I wont cause there really is no need
and I don't seem to see the point
and I am so tired I got nothing
I've got nothing left for anyone.
Dumbfounded.
So I cried that way for the last time
there is no way I'm ever going to cry that way again
What the world needs now is not
another helpless hapless pathetic being
When she's OK
So take a hold
and rock n roll
and sell your soul too cheaply
I am weak, totally numb, weak of the soul
and I'm confused and I'm hurt
and I want to know more
and I want to know less and I want to know why!!
Totally dumbfounded.
I am hurt and dumbfounded.
